Description: Discover how to create accurate bankruptcy schedules and statements for filing with the court. Christana Eckert, ACP, will guide you through the process of preparing a bankruptcy filing by working with the debtors to explain their role in providing the information needed, correctly filling out the bankruptcy forms, performing due diligence, and presenting completed forms reviewed and approved by the debtor to your attorney for review. She will also share tips for avoiding the most common pitfalls resulting from scheduling errors and omissions.

Presenter Biography: Christana Eckert, ACP, started her legal career as a Legal Assistant in 2005. She completed a paralegal studies program and became a NALA Certified Paralegal (CP®) in 2015 and became a NALA Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP®) in 2017. She has an extensive background in bankruptcy but also has experience in other areas of law, including civil litigation, real estate, business, and family law. Chris has a commitment to service in the community and has been blessed to be a volunteer for most of her adult life with wonderful organizations and individuals.
