2022 NALA Conference & Expo Virtual Guide

The 2022 NALA Conference & Expo is around the corner and we could not be more excited to see you there!
  • Accessing Online Sessions and Meetings. Conference Attendees and Meetings-Only Attendees can access the virtual platform online through any internet browser. To gain access to the online platform please go to https://cvent.me/52xlAd. You can find a walkthrough of our Virtual Hub here.
  • CLE Information. Conference attendees who registered for the full conference will have access to all the virtual education sessions. However, it is up to you to decide which sessions interest you in each time block and to attend those specific sessions. Once you join the session you want to attend your attendance will be monitored. The virtual conference allows for up to 15 CLE hours to be earned during the 3-day event. (Attendance will only be given for one concurrent session.)
  • Session Information. Attendees do not have to check in or check out of each online session. Your attendance will be automatically monitored. Throughout each session, the attendee will be able to see both the presentation and the speaker. We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the Q&A feature in the app or online platform. These questions are then displayed to the session moderators for a response during the live session. Attendees have the option to turn the Chat feature on and off during the session.
  • Time Zones. Attendees have the option to switch the platform to their preferred time zone. Once switched, all the times will automatically update.
  • Download the Conference App. The NALA Conference app complements the online platform and allows attendees to view the conference agenda, access the handout material needed for sessions and meetings, explore digital vendor booths, receive real-time important communications from NALA, and more! It is available to download via iTunes or Google Play. To download the app attendees must first download the “Cvent Events” app, and then search keyword: NALA.
  • Join the 2022 Conference Attendee Facebook Group. This exclusive Facebook group is the main social site for interacting with other attendees this year! Post photos, videos, status updates, and questions right from a common platform. Search 2022 NALA Conference & Expo, or click here.
  • Visibility on Online Platform/App. All conference attendees are automatically visible to others on the virtual platform. Once logged in to the virtual platform, you may edit your profile and make yourself invisible to other registrants. If you opt out, other attendees will not be able to reach out to you from this platform during the 2022 NALA Conference & Expo.
  • One-on-One Appointments. As a part of this year’s networking opportunities, attendees can schedule appointments with other attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors directly from the event homepage. Unique meeting links are automatically generated for each meeting. The person who initiates the appointment can set the time. The person who is being invited will then be alerted and can either accept or decline the appointment. All appointments will display in an attendee’s personalized schedule, along with their sessions, and can additionally be added to personal Google or Outlook calendars. You must be visible to others on the virtual platform to take advantage of these appointments.
  • Complete Session Evaluations Directly Within the Online Platform. We would love to hear your feedback from each session you attend, so do not forget to fill out the evaluations. The Sunday after the conference has concluded, attendees will receive the Overall Conference Survey. Your feedback is incredibly helpful to the continued improvement of our annual conference.
  • Certificates and Digital Badges. In approximately 4-6 weeks after the conference, you will receive an email stating your certificates of attendance are ready to download from your NALA Education account. You will also receive an email inviting you to accept your digital badge of attendance.
  • Recommended Items to Have Close By. We recommend attendees prepare for the virtual conference by grabbing their preferred beverage of choice, snacks, comfortable clothes, and a nice supportive chair!
  • If you miss attending a virtual session, there is no alternative method to “make-up” the missed session during the conference week. If you are interested in viewing a missed session, you may purchase any single session or the entire conference bundle after the conference. These on-demand sessions should be available on the NALA website by September.
  • General Conference Questions. If you have questions during the conference, contact our office at 918-587-6828 or nalanet@nala.org. Please note there will be no technical support on Saturday.
