What you need to know before you apply

The program consists of 10 sessions, packed with engaging content and expert guidance. From the DiSC Personality Test and valuing diversity to effective meetings and speaking skills, each session will empower you on your leadership journey. Check out the schedule below. Participants may not miss more than two sessions to remain enrolled in the program.

All scheduled sessions will be held virtually with attendees and instructors using full video and audio. Attendees will also have assignments and small-group work between the scheduled sessions, and a final capstone project will be due at the end of the program (in March 2024). Participants can expect to spend an average of 3-4 hours/month for the duration of the program.

What is my investment?

  • We ask that you commit to all sessions and assignments of the program and that you request permission from or inform your employer that you will be participating.
  • The time needed to fully participate in the program is estimated at 3-4 hours/month.
  • Program fee upon selection for the program (includes all sessions, materials, and resources): $250 (You can apply for a hardship request if necessary.)

There are no fees to apply. All applicants selected for the inaugural group of the NALA LEAD program will be notified whether they were selected by August 2nd.

That’s not all! Last year, NALA conducted a beta test of the LEAD program with NALA leaders, and we received some fantastic testimonials.
