In-Person Conference Guide

• For general conference questions, such as claiming your CLE credit, the conference COVID-19 policies, and how to access session materials, please see our 2022 NALA Conference & Expo FAQs page, stop by the NALA Registration/Help Desk, or you can contact our office at 918-587-6828 or nalanet@nala.org. There will be no online support available on Saturday.
• Download the Conference App. The NALA Conference app allows attendees to view the conference agenda, access the handout material needed for sessions and meetings, explore digital vendor booths, receive real-time important communications from NALA, and more! It is available to download via iTunes or Google Play. To download the app, attendees must first download the “Cvent Events” app, and then search keyword: NALA. • Conference Badges can be picked up at the NALA Registration/Help Desk located in the Grand Canyon Foyer. Badges are required for entry into all sessions and break areas. Please wear your badge when you are in our conference area of the hotel. Your badge allows you access to education sessions and the expo hall. When no longer attending conference or visiting other areas of the hotel, please remove your badge.
• The Registration Desk will be open from 4 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday in the Grand Canyon Foyer. It will open again at 7:15 am on Thursday.
• Welcome Cocktail Hour. You are invited to join the Arizona Paralegal Association for a cocktail hour Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This will take place near registration in the Grand Canyon Foyer. You must check in at the registration desk to receive your complimentary drink ticket.
• The Opening Night Reception and Affiliate Showcase ticket is in your badge holder. This reception ticket may also be exchanged for a beverage. You can turn it in at the bar on Thursday night to redeem one complimentary beverage.
• Important Items to Bring include a light sweater (meeting rooms can get chilly), comfy shoes, your business cards for networking, and up-to-date printed resumes for companies doing on-site interviews. You may also want to bring a phone charging brick to make sure your phone does not run out of battery. The resort hotel is large. Going back and forth to your room during the day for items might take more time than anticipated.
• Connect to Wi-Fi. To access the complimentary conference Wi-Fi during sessions, connect to the network NALA. The password is NALACon22. When you are in your hotel room, you must accept a charge to log onto Wi-Fi. This charge will not show up on your bill.
• Take session surveys directly from the app. We would love to hear your feedback on each session, so do not forget to fill out the surveys.
• CLE Credit. To get credit for the session you attend, you must scan your badge at the start of each session. Scanners are available as you enter the room. They will be shut down a few minutes after the session has started. Once scanners are shut down, credit will not be awarded.
• Certificates. After conference, scanner data will be processed and certificates will be issued. You will receive an email approximately four weeks after conference alerting you that certificates are available. An email to accept your digital attendance badge will be sent around the same time.
