It covers the foundational elements of personal injury cases, including identifying parties, assessing liabilities, and evaluating damages. Essential skills such as acquiring and analyzing police, medical, and employment records are emphasized for determining liability and substantiating damages. The course also delves into the critical processes of securing and preparing expert testimony, crafting settlement proposals, and presenting compelling cases through witness testimony and documentary evidence at trial.

Earning the Personal Injury Advanced Certified Paralegal Credential:

  • A passing score is 85%.
  • Three attempts for a passing score are available with this course. (If you do not pass the exam on the three attempts, you must repurchase the course and start over.)
  • Statement of Completion – Upon completion of the course and successfully passing the exam, a statement of completion is required. The statement of completion is a summary of what you learned from this course and how you will apply this to your job.
    • Once the statement of completion is uploaded, an alert is sent to NALA.
    • Upon satisfactory review of the statement, NALA marks the course 100% complete and begins the process of issuing the certificate and credential* if you are eligible.
