Description: Have you ever witnessed or experienced bullying in the workplace? Whether verbal or nonverbal, bullying among adult coworkers may occur. Explore strategies for recognizing and addressing bullying at work, including the importance of having policies and procedures in place to ensure employees feel safe reporting incidents.
Instructor Biography: Kiki Wilson is a professor of online communications at Fortis Institute. She received her master’s degree in communication from Walden University and her undergraduate degree from SUNY Brockport and Finger Lakes Community College. As part of the “Conscious Communication” series, Kiki will present her ongoing research, which focuses on topics such as conflict management, the LGBTQ+ community, and adult bullying in the workplace. In 2024, Finger Lakes Community College presented her with the Distinguished Alumnus award, and Blaque Out Magazine named her Activist of the Year.
