Description: 
Participants will be educated on the best ways to help their firms and clients be Medicare compliant, thereby protecting Medicare’s future interests. Methods for obtaining what is paid in Medicare’s Final Demand and returning it to their clients will also be detailed.
Specific subsections of the program will address both fully funded and self-funded ERISA liens, how to identify weaknesses in the related plans, and techniques and tactics to achieve the best results in having these types of liens reduced and/or waived.

Objectives: Throughout this program, attendees will acquire the skills to:
  • Address all types of health insurance liens in how to place them on notice, challenge them, and receive information that will allow them to be significantly reduced or, in some cases, waived.
  • Ensure that both attorneys and their clients comply with the rules regarding Medicare Compliance to protect Medicare’s future interests.
  • Evaluate what motivates those in the subrogation world to pursue liens and what can be done to overcome those obstacles.
