Description: This course is designed to demonstrate the various opportunities present in the day-to-day issues we face in the workplace and our personal lives. How we diffuse conflicting interpersonal interactions will allow for reflection and strengthen our work relationships. Confrontation simply means face-to-face. This course will explore the main reason why many are apprehensive in facing difficult matters in a diverse work environment and reveal the sometimes-hidden opportunities.

Presenter Biography: Dr. Deborah Sandlin is a doctoral advisor at Trevecca Nazarene University and a paralegal at the Tennessee Administrative Office of the Courts in Nashville. She has been an educator for more than 12 years and a legal professional for more than 18 years. She has also utilized her legal talents as a compliance analyst and mediator. Dr. Sandlin has taught and trained future paralegals through local colleges in Nashville.
