Description: Ethical problems rarely arrive labeled as ethical problems. They arise when a client asks for advice while the attorney is unavailable, when confidential information is entered into technology, when artificial intelligence is used to draft or summarize legal material, when an attorney asks a paralegal to handle something outside the traditional scope of the role, or when efficiency conflicts with professional responsibility. Through practical scenarios, this session examines the increasingly complicated ethical judgment calls experienced paralegals encounter in modern practice.
