Post-petition refers to anything that occurs after the bankruptcy petition is filed. This class will review events that generally follow the bankruptcy filing. You have worked hard with the debtor(s) to get the case filed, but the life cycle of the bankruptcy case is just starting. Be prepared for what is coming next.

Presenter Biography: Christana “Chris” Eckert has worked in the legal field since 2005. She completed a paralegal studies program. She became a NALA Certified Paralegal in 2015. She has since earned Advanced Certified Paralegal credentials in Commercial Bankruptcy and eDiscovery. She has an extensive background in bankruptcy but also has experience in civil litigation, real estate, business, and family law. Chris has a long history of service in the community and credits Mother Antonia Brenner (the “Prison Angel”) with inspiring her to be “a drop of water in an ocean of mercy.”
