Description: There will be a discussion about the Federal Rules of Evidence, when they started, why, and when they were updated. Another discussion will focus on hearsay, authentication, and relevance. Participants should come away with a grasp of the way in which evidence is introduced, reasons for many evidentiary limitations, and how the evidentiary rules are applied. Viewers will become more effective in helping prepare for litigation and have a better understanding of what information can make it to the jury.
