Description: Death triggers legal, financial, and administrative responsibilities. This session examines the first 90 days of estate and trust administration from an institutional fiduciary’s perspective. Participants will explore how to identify priority documents and assets, distinguish between the roles of personal representative and trustee, coordinate required notices, recognize titling and beneficiary-designation problems, and anticipate issues involving real property, liquidity, creditors, taxes, and family communication. Attendees will gain a practical framework for moving an administration from intake through an organized, defensible process.
