The NALA Commons 2025 NALA Conference & Expo Community is your space to connect with fellow conference attendees before the name tags even go on. Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any social events at conference?
Yes! There will be several opportunities to mingle and network with fellow attendees.
The first event is the Pre-Registration Happy Hour on Wednesday night from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Expo Hall. Plan to arrive early to check in, get your swag bag and drink voucher, and connect with attendees and vendors.
The Affiliate Showcase, often considered the quintessential social event of conference, is on Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the glass dome 21+ pool area. Seize this opportunity to network with attendees while exploring what our affiliates have to offer and picking up some great swag. You do not have to be an affiliate member to attend, and everyone gets a free drink ticket.
In celebration of NALA’s history, we will host our 50th Anniversary Gala on Friday night from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. This milestone event will feature dining, mingling, music, walking the red carpet, and dancing. It is the perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues, reflect on our history, and toast to the bright future ahead. Ticket prices go up on June 18th, so save your seat now!

What are the NALA shuttle times, and how do I register?

NALA is offering a complimentary shuttle for conference attendees to and from the Philadelphia International Airport and Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City on Wednesday, July 9, and Sunday, July 13. You can view the times and register here. Space is limited, and you must register by June 5 (shuttle may fill up sooner). Please note that the shuttle is only for conference attendees. Guests will have to arrange alternate transportation. More details about the shuttle will be sent to registrants in July.
Does the NALA shuttle have storage for our luggage?
Yes! The shuttle is a bus, so there will be space to store your luggage.
What if I can't make the shuttle I signed up for?
Once you arrive at the Philadelphia International Airport, look for an Ambassador & Hospitality Team member in Baggage Claim holding a lollipop sign with the NALA logo. Speak with her about whether there is space on a future shuttle.
How can I get around Atlantic City?

NALA will offer a free jitney (small bus) for conference attendees and their guests, with stops at the Boardwalk, Caesars, and the nearby mall. To board, you must have a NALA conference badge or guest pass, which you can get at the Registration Desk. Pick up and drop off is at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City.
There are also jitneys throughout Atlantic City with stops at various popular destinations. Click here to view their routes. You can also download the Jitney Surfer app for convenience. Each one-way ride is $3 cash, and you can buy a pack of 10 tickets for $22.50 (or $7.50 for ages 62+). Since the ATMs at Harrah’s Resort charge a $9 fee, we recommend bringing cash.
Other options for traveling around Atlantic City include taxis/ridesharing (Uber, Lyft), walking, biking (rentals available), and renting a car (NALA members can use their Avis/Budget affinity discounts).
Can I bring a guest to the Gala?
Yes, as long as they purchase a ticket. They don’t have to be a conference attendee.
Will there be a Facebook group for conference?
Not this year. We are using Commons as a place for attendees to connect with one another, vendors, and sponsors. You can access the 2025 NALA Conference & Expo community here. You do not have to be a NALA member to join Commons, but you do need to create a NALA account.
How do I access NALA Commons?
You can access Commons here. The 2025 NALA Conference & Expo community is here. To get to Commons from NALA’s website, click Login in the top right corner and enter your credentials. Then you will see a link to Commons where the Login button was. You may have to log in again once you are redirected to Commons.
How much does parking cost at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City?
Self-parking for hotel guests is $10 after applying the $5 resort credit fee (Sunday through Friday). Valet parking is $40. If you are a Caesars Rewards member at the Platinum, Diamond, or Seven Stars® level, self-parking and valet parking are complimentary.
Will there be a shuttle from the Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) to Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City?
NALA will not provide a shuttle, but you can take a rental car, taxi, rideshare, train, or bus.
Will there be an app for conference?
Yes, we will be using Cvent. It is available as an app and a website. We plan to release more information at the end of June. You can use the platform to view sessions, speakers, sponsors, and more. You can also create your schedule and connect with attendees and vendors. We will send relevant push notifications to remind you of sessions and events as they approach. We strongly encourage you to utilize this resource throughout your conference experience.
