She is skilled in advising clients on robust intellectual property protection and strategies for registered and unregistered rights. Her technical specialties include data analysis and processing, computer-implemented inventions, software, pneumatic systems, consumer products, medical devices, energy production, and harvesting systems. She heads Barker Brettell’s Computing & Software group and Designs Team. Carrie handles design applications for clients and often files international (Hague) designs for US law firms. She is familiar with the requirements and legal quirks in numerous countries and advises on and implements effective filing strategies.
