1. The foundation of our freedom depends upon unbiased judges chosen on merit to give every party to a lawsuit a level playing field.
2. The Judicial Nominating Commission is an absolute necessity to guarantee that applicants for Oklahoma judge positions are qualified and free from scandal. We must learn from the Supreme Court scandal of the 1960s.
3. We must do our part to oppose efforts for judges to be chosen solely on political beliefs or party affiliation.
