1. Identify the essential principles of professionalism and civility in the legal workplace and explain how respectful conduct impacts attorneys, paralegals, clients, opposing counsel, courts, and the legal profession as a whole.
2. Apply effective communication and conflict-management strategies when dealing with challenging clients, opposing counsel, attorneys, coworkers, and other participants in the legal process while maintaining professionalism and composure.
3. Recognize how paralegals can contribute to a culture of professionalism, ethical advocacy, and mutual respect within their legal teams and use practical techniques to strengthen professional relationships and uphold the integrity of the legal profession.
