Ethical Considerations for the Law Firm Paralegal

The course will deal with the ethical responsibilities of a Paralegal in a law firm and other settings and will cover the “ABA Rules of Professional Conduct” along with the “Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct”.

Objective 1: To make Paralegals aware of the benefits and dangers of using Artificial Intelligence as a part of their work product.

Objective 2: To make paralegals aware of the their responsibilities under the Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct.

Objective 3. To help Paralegals know the limit and where the line is between the work of a Paralegal and the “Unauthorized Practice of Law.
