An in-depth CLE focused on the full lifecycle of discovery in civil litigation, from initial Rule 26 obligations through trial preparation.

Three Learning Objectives:

1) Analyze and apply Rule 26 discovery obligations to develop an effective discovery plan that complies with disclosure requirements, proportionality standards, and evolving case strategy.
2) Implement best practices for managing written discovery, depositions, and discovery disputes to obtain critical evidence efficiently while minimizing risk, cost, and motion practice.
3) Leverage discovery strategically to prepare for trial, including using discovery responses to support dispositive motions, expert preparation, and evidentiary foundations.
