SCUPA’s September Lunch and Learn “Inside Higher Ed: What Life in the OGC Can Teach Us about Priorities, Perspective & Professional Wellness” is presented by Meredith Green, Esq., General Counsel for Furman University.
The presentation will:
1. Introduce the attendees to the area of Higher Education Law by defining it and providing examples of where it applies and who benefits from it.
2. Provide history and application of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and Title IX, Title VI, ADA and FERPA
3. Provide ideas and strategies about how legal professionals can stay well while performing the complex tasks that are required to work in this field.
