HPA NALA CP Exam Review Course

Houston Paralegal Association

The HPA Review Course is a 13-week course covering a topic a week for both the Knowledge and Skills Exams. One session of course is on Ethics.

Session 1:

Learning Objectives:

1. Knowledge of the vocabulary for the NALA CP Exam
2. Understanding of each of the ten Knowledge topics that will be presented on the CP Exam
3. Understanding of the requirements for the Skills portion and what is needed to write a solid brief

Session 2:

Three session of the Skills review
Critical Thinking, Legal Writing, and a Brief Discussion

Learning Objectives:

1. Knowing the grammar and composition needed for writing the brief
2. Critical thinking needed to write the brief
3. How to go about preparing the brief
