May 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CDT
Virtual Event
$10

Northwest Florida Paralegal Association, Inc.

Why the attorney–paralegal relationship is one of the most important dynamics in a law office. Newly licensed attorneys are smart and credentialed, but often inexperienced in actual practice. Key premise: Paralegals frequently possess more practical knowledge than new attorneys when it comes to procedure, workflow, court customs, filing practices, and office operations

Learning Objectives:

1. Recognize the critical role paralegals play in helping new attorneys develop practical legal skills, procedural knowledge, and firm-specific practice habits.
2. Identify communication and mentorship strategies that foster productive, respectful, and collaborative relationships between paralegals and junior attorneys.
3. Explain how attorney–paralegal relationships can evolve from day-to-day support into long-term professional partnerships that improve efficiency, client service, and workplace culture.
