Participants will be able to explain why demonstrative aids (e.g., timelines, animations, bodycam footage, medical illustrations) improve juror understanding, retention, and credibility of case themes.
Identify best practices for selecting, preparing, and organizing effective courtroom visuals
Participants will learn how to assist attorneys by choosing appropriate visuals, ensuring accuracy and simplicity, and organizing exhibits and video clips for seamless courtroom presentation and compliance with evidentiary rules.
Recognize common legal, technical, and ethical pitfalls associated with visual and video presentations
Participants will be able to spot issues such as improper enhancement, misleading graphics, authentication problems, discovery concerns, and courtroom technology failures—and take proactive steps to help avoid them.
