Virginia Family Law Practice: Procedures, Case Management, and Client Support Strategies for Paralegals

The goal of this program is to introduce participants to the “Ins and Outs” of Family Law in the Commonwealth (State) of Virginia and how to overcome any obstacles in the representation of clients if they arise.

Objective 1: Identify the key statutes, rules, and procedures governing family law matters in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Objective 2: Apply practical skills and best practices to effectively manage family law cases from intake through resolution.
Objective 3: Analyze effective approaches for supporting clients experiencing emotionally difficult family law proceedings while maintaining professional and ethical boundaries.
