What is the first thing you do when you want to find something out about somebody you don’t know? If you’re like most people, I’m sure your answer includes the word “Google”.  But did you know – that there’s a whole lot more information out there, in the invisible, or deep web that traditional search engines don’t find?  Did you know that Google only covers one percent of what’s available on the internet? The other 99% of information exists in the deep (or invisible) web, which can be a goldmine for investigators, and you just must know where to look to find it.  That information, might be just what you need to build a strong case. Attendees will learn about non-traditional search engines, they will learn about free and paid services for searching and finally they will learn tips and tricks when searching social media sites including Google.
