Toni Marsh
Toni Marsh is the founding director of the George Washington University paralegal studies program, an associate professor of Paralegal Studies and the founding director of the paralegal studies program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Professor Marsh presents frequently on using paralegals to increase access to justice, expanding paralegal roles, and the unauthorized practice of law. Professor Marsh, the author of Juvenile Law, designed and launched the first formal paralegal education program in the nation of Tanzania at the University of Bagamoyo in Tanzania; the curriculum is now used throughout the nation of Tanzania. She is currently working on a curriculum and credential for nonlawyer advocates working to increase access to justice for American Indian tribes.
