Rachael Delehanty, originally from northern California, attended UC Davis and obtained a bachelor's degree in Linguistics. She graduated Vermont Law School in 2016. She was awarded the Vermont Law School Alumni Award and the Vermont Law School Shirley Jefferson Award for Perseverance.
After graduating, she started her career with Alaska Legal Services Corporation (ALSC) in their Fairbanks Office as the Americorps Equal Justice Works Elder Justice Legal Fellow where she specializes in helping elderly clients in civil cases related to abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation. After the fellowship ended in 2017, Rachael remained at the ALSC, becoming a full staff attorney, taking on a variety of civil cases including divorce, custody, fighting against debt collectors, and landlord/tenant cases.
