Jaye L. Koch, ACP, is a past NALA Area 1 Director, NALA Region II Director, and NALA Certifying Board Chair.
Jaye graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Virginia Wesleyan College. She completed and graduated from the Paralegal Certificate program at Tidewater Community College. Jaye became a member of NALA in 2003 when she passed the Certified Paralegal exam. She earned the ACP-Trial Practice designation in 2009.
Jaye worked as an intern during her last semester of college at the Virginia Beach Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney, was hired as a full time employee upon graduation and continues to work in the office as a Senior Paralegal.
Jaye remains active in her local paralegal association, Tidewater Paralegal Association, and the statewide Local Government Paralegal Association. She is also a member of the Virginia Alliance of Paralegal Associations and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. She has served in various capacities in all four associations.
Jaye is married to Michael, they have a son, Tyson Cullen, and a beloved dachshund, Sabre. Jaye is an active member of Nimmo United Methodist Church and especially enjoys mission work including both domestic and international mission trips.
