A Colorado native, Crystal DeVoss Mahany, M.A., M.P.S., earned a bachelor’s degree from Regis University in Denver. She began working as a Legal Assistant where she learned the process of the legal system and litigation. In 2011, she earned a master’s degree from Norwich University. In 2015, her eldest son was diagnosed with Autism and both of her sons were diagnosed with a rare speech disorder, Apraxia. Propelled by a newfound passion for Disability Rights, Crystal went back to school and earned a second master’s degree from George Washington University in 2020. She is deeply committed to serving the Disability Community. Crystal currently works as a paralegal for two law firms specializing in Special Education Law.
