Schwartz\, Esq.\, served as a document review and ESI consultant in Breaking Code Silence v. McNamara\, a two-year litigation involving Slack preservation\, collection\, and review. The case underscores the critical role paralegals and litigation-support professionals play in defensible discovery—from mapping systems and tracking custodians to validating exports\, preserving context\, and identifying production gaps. The matter ultimately resulted in dismissal with prejudice and $15\,342 in monetary sanctions related to delayed Slack production. Using the case as a road map\, this session provides a repeatable workflow for preserving\, collecting\, reviewing\, validating\, producing\, documenting\, and escalating Slack data and other modern ESI.\n\nCourse Year: 2026
