DESCRIPTION:Course Materials: Most live webinars include the ability to ask questions during the webinar about the topic\, view slides of the presentation and have access to a recording of the webinar. \n\nDescription: This presentation covers modern feminist consciousness movements\, academic and legal writing\, and the intersection of modern feminist experience with gender-based violence and criminology. The goal is to enhance attendees’ understanding of how the complex system of abuse interacts with racism and crime. An interdisciplinary methodology of feminist psychoanalysis\, law\, and comparative literature challenges traditional modes of viewing the problem of gender-based violence and abuse. Reviewing gender-based violence through this exploratory lens aims to help professionals build a new rhetorical lens through which to advocate for their clients.
