W2337 NALA Affiliated Association Presentation, Keeping it Real: Transparency & Innovation within your Organization

“Keeping it Real: Transparency & Innovation within your Organization” is the topic for the upcoming live NALA Affiliated Association Presentation. Discuss today's changes and how to keep things fresh and evolving.

Course Category: Events

Start Date and Time (CT): Tuesday, June 20, 2023 6:00 pm

Description: The Merriam-Webster definition of innovation is, “the act or process of introducing new ideas, devices, or methods.” It is well-known that the only thing constant in the world is change. Some people oppose change, and some people embrace change. The one thing that is certain is that change keeps things fresh and constantly evolving. Keeping things fresh is important in organizations. You do not want your organization to become stale; to be mundane. You want your organization to be exciting, to be current with the times, to embrace the relevancy of “now,” to be diverse, to be welcoming, and to ultimately say to prospective members, “there is value in what we have to offer.”

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this session, affiliates will
discuss the importance of being transparent within their organization.
be able to explain the importance of keeping their organization current and up to date with the culture around them.
outline some ideas on keeping their organization innovative and how to engage their members.
