This on-demand webinar, presented by two special education attorneys, will provide a comprehensive overview of the historical background and laws related to special education. The laws applicable to students with disabilities, including the differences between the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504, the concept of a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE), the evaluation, eligibility process and Individualized Education Plan processes, discipline protections of special education students, and dispute resolution.
