Description: Motor vehicle crash reconstruction is the science of determining the Who, What, Where, When, Why and How of a motor vehicle crash.
The accident reconstructionist works the accident from the end to the beginning.  Receiving the necessary documents from the client, the reconstructionist will be able to assist in the litigation of the case and determine the Who, What, Where, When, Why and How of the crash.  This presentation discusses what a reconstructionist will need from the attorney, why it is needed and how the use of it will tell the story of the case.  We also discuss the methodology of reconstructing a crash to achieve a factual basis for the conclusion, and the tools used to get there.  Topics include site analysis, interviews of participants and witnesses, data collection and analysis, specialty tools used, demonstratives and trial preparation.
A reconstructionist should tell you the truth; i.e., what your attorney NEEDS to hear, not what they want to hear.
