Description: Cases are won and lost during discovery. Every successful paralegal must understand the power of discovery, and how to use it to advantage. This session introduces the different types of discovery that cases may use and explain why they are important, provide an overview of objections, provide encouragement of good, well-thought out work product, and demonstrate how a paralegal’s knowledge of discovery can help (or hurt) a case.

4. Subpoenas (Regular and Duces Tecum)
