This on-demand webinar will compare and contrast ethical use of technology in the law firm with the duty of competency required by more than half the states in the country. It will also explore data privacy concerns in the age of

nearly every document existing only electronically. Because technology is so fluid, this on-demand webinar aims to provide the tools needed to assess uses and risks of technology in general, not necessarily the promotion of any one tool over another.

Registrants will explore potential conflicts with using technology to maintain a competitive advantage that may also violate ethical obligations; discuss tips and tricks for conducting due diligence on technology providers; and identify and mitigate security risks related to client data and new technology.
