Contracts Paralegal - DaVita is currently looking for a Paralegal supporting our legal operations department! Our Paralegal will provide substantive legal work in support of the Group General Counsel and the team within the legal department who perform work in the areas of legal operations. Our Paralegal will have a high level of autonomy and be a process driver within the department. We are looking for a high level of multi-tasking and project management abilities, are very detail-oriented, have exceptional organizational and time management skills, have a "can do" attitude, are flexible and adaptable to change, are independent thinkers, and most of all, are strong team-players. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful and self-sufficient. The successful candidate will possess: Assertiveness to drive processes and direct field inquiries daily; Attention to detail and ability to follow complex internal processes; and Strong organizational skills. Duties will include: Drafting various healthcare agreements which may include Medical Director Agreements, ancillary agreements and joinder agreements; Drafting correspondence/commencement date memos; Act as first point of contact for our field operators on legal inquiries; Working directly with field support to obtain critical information for drafting healthcare-specific agreements; Participating in agreement review process and maintaining tracking spreadsheets; Supporting administrative reporting requirements of the legal operations group; Supporting other team members on special projects as needed; Other duties and responsibilities as assigned; Able to work overtime with little or no notice as needed; Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed or required; Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures; and Consistent, regular, punctual attendance.
Requirements or Qualifications: 
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate; 3 - 5 years’ experience in a corporate legal/legal environment; Healthcare experience preferred; and Intermediate to advanced computer skills and a high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
