Job Summary: 
Highly responsible, legal, administrative secretarial position. Under limited supervision, performs a variety of routine administrative and complex secretarial functions involving legal terminology and forms for the City Attorney, Chief Assistant City Attorney, Deputy City Attorney or other staff. Position requires courtesy, tact, and effectiveness in requesting or providing information, asking questions, or obtaining clarification. This position is frequently confronted with emergencies, frequent interruptions, and changing needs.
Requirements or Qualifications: 
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Five (5) years secretarial and administrative experience. Experience in local government administration preferred. Prior legal experience preferred. A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
